More young South Koreans are seeking jobs abroad due to tough job market.

Data released by the Ministry of Employment and Labor on Wednesday showed the number of young South Koreans working abroad reached about three-thousand-300 in the first eleven months of the year, up nearly 66 percent year-on-year.

Their average salary increased by four percent from 25-point-four million won in 2014 to 26-point-four million won as of November this year.

According to a survey of some 46-hundred South Korean workers overseas, 66 percent of respondents said they are satisfied with their jobs, while six percent said they are dissatisfied.
