Acting President and Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn has decided to retain Deputy Prime Minister for economic affairs Yoo Il-ho.

Yoo had been preparing to leave office after Park nominated Financial Services Commission(FSC) Chairman Yim Jong-yong to succeed him last month.

Acting President Hwang has also ordered Yim to stay on as FSC chief. 

Hwang's decision to keep both men in their present job is widely viewed as a move to ensure policy consistency and stability in the face of the ongoing impeachment process.
