The Korea Gas Corporation and Russia's Gazprom have signed an agreement on closer cooperation.
 
Under the agreement, the two sides boost cooperation and exchange information in various sectors ranging from bilateral energy trade to technology and training.  

The Korea Gas Corporation already purchases one and a half million tons of liquefied natural gas from Gazprom annually. 

Gazprom is the world’s’ largest gas company.
