The tech-heavy KOSDAQ closed flat only inching up zero-point-04 points, or zero-point-01 percent, to 596-point-11.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened zero-point-six won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-169-point-one won.
