The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Friday inched up three-point-two points, or zero-point-16 percent, to close the week at one-thousand-974-point-46.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose five-point-17 points, or zero-point-87 percent, to 597-point-82.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated two-point-seven won against the greenback to one-thousand-177-point-four won.
