The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rebounded on Tuesday, climbing 17-point-42 points, or zero-point-89 percent, to close at one-thousand-983-point-47 buoyed by gains overnight on Wall Street.

The tech-laden KOSDAQ advanced 1-point-41 points, or zero-point-23 percent, to 610-point-74.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated ten-point-five won against the greenback to one-thousand-176-point-one won.
