The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) further extended its losses on Tuesday dropping six-point-87 points, or zero-point-35 percent, to close at one-thousand-967-point-53.

The tech-laden KOSDAQ slipped three-point-eight points, or zero-point-61 percent, to 617-point-43.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated one-point-three won against the greenback to one-thousand-170-point-six won.
