The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained five-point-eight points, or zero-point-29 percent, to close above the psychological threshold of two-thousand on Tuesday to two-thousand-three-point-38.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ inched up two-point-02 points, or zero-point-32 percent, to 624-point-19.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated eight-point-one won against the greenback to one-thousand-135 won.
