The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) closed nearly flat on Wednesday, gaining zero-point-51 point, or zero-point-02 percent, to close at two-thousand-40-point-94.
 
The secondary KOSDAQ inched up slightly, closing up zero-point-97 point, or zero-point-15 percent, to 661-point-26.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated six-point-two won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-123-point-two won.
