KOSPI Moves Up; KOSDAQ Falls

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Monday nudged forward four-point-95 points, or zero-point-24 percent, to close at two-thousand-27-point-61 as foreign investors bought large-cap stocks.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ, on the other hand, lost five-point-09 points, or zero-point-77 percent, to 659-point-83.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened five-point-eight won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-137-point-nine won.
