N. Korea Threatens to Turn S. Korea, US into 'Sea of Fire'

North Korea has threatened that it will turn South Korea and the United States into a “sea of fire” if they show signs of a preemptive attack against Pyongyang.

The Rodong Simnun, the newspaper of the North’s ruling Workers’ Party, said on Saturday that if the United States and its South Korean puppets show the slightest signs of a preemptive attack, it will prompt the North into an immediate military response.

The paper said that if North Korea launches a retaliatory attack, it will instantly turn South Korea as well as the U.S. mainland and its military bases in the Pacific into a sea of flames.

It added that the South Korean government is trumpeting that it can defend the country from the North’s attacks just by deploying a U.S. THAAD battery, but it is a stupid idea.
