The South Korean central bank has decided to keep the benchmark interest rate steady at one-point-25 percent. 

The Bank of Korea(BOK) on Thursday left its key rate unchanged at the record low level for October.
 
The BOK monetary policy board has kept the rate steady for four consecutive months since slashing it to the current level in June.
