The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Wednesday edged up one-point-eight points, or zero-point-09 percent, to close at two-thousand-33-point-73 after suffering from a sharp drop the day before.

The tech-laden KOSDAQ dipped zero-point-69 point, or zero-point-one percent, to 669-point-95.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency depreciated three-point-two won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-123-point-six won.
