KOSPI Edges up; KOSDAQ Retreats

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) inched up one-point-85 points, or zero-point-09 percent, to close at two-thousand-63-point-73 on Thursday following the tech-laden Nasdaq's record-high close overnight in the U.S.
 
The secondary KOSDAQ, however, slipped five-point-09 points, or zero-point-76 percent, to 667-point-four.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened two-point-six won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-92-point-six won.
