The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) slipped five-point-09 points, or zero-point-25 percent, to close at two-thousand-34-point-65 on Wednesday on strong foreign selling.
 
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ lost three-point-92 points, or zero-point-59 percent, to 663-point-69.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened five-point-one won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-114-point-eight won.
