An annual international forum on water will be held in Busan this week.
 
The Busan Metropolitan Government says the fourth Busan Global Water Forum will be held at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (Bexco) for two days from Wednesday.
 
Under the theme of “Water-Energy Nexus for Sustainable Water Solutions,” the forum will bring together top global experts, as well as government officials and companies from home and abroad. 
 
The organizers expect the upcoming forum will produce more in-depth discussions on water- and energy-related issues than previous forums, because this year’s event is being held alongside an annual conference of the International Society for Microbial Electrochemistry and Technology.
 
Busan has held the forum together with the IWA since 2012.
