The Federation of Korean Industries said Monday that it is hosting job fairs in multiple provinces early next month which will see the participation of 22 affiliates of nine major corporate groups including Samsung, SK, LG and POSCO.

Recruitment managers from each firm will be at the fairs to explain their corporate vision, the employment process and provide tips on writing cover letters, passing written exams and performing well at interviews.

Newly employed workers will also come out to share their know-how on how they successfully landed jobs.

Conglomerates will set up counseling booths to answer student questions.

Song Won-geun, a senior official at the Federation of Korean Industries, said that job seekers can acquire useful information from the job fairs as they are preparing various programs in connection with local governments, university job centers and the local Creative Economy Innovation Centers.

The fairs, marking its fourth year this year, will take place from September fifth to the eighth at Kyungpook, Pusan, Chonnam and Chungbuk National Universities.
