The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) shed five-point-42 points, or zero-point-27 percent, to close the week at two-thousand-37-point-50.

The tech-laden KOSDAQ also slipped three-point-53 points, or zero-point-52 percent, to 680-point-43.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency rose two-point-two won against the greenback to one-thousand-113-point-seven won.
