Foreign ministers of South Korea, China and Japan have agreed to call for restraint from North Korea and to lead the international response to the regime's continued missile provocations.

During a meeting in Tokyo on Wednesday, Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se and his Japanese and Chinese counterparts, Fumio Kishida and Wang Yi, agreed that the North's latest ballistic missile test cannot be tolerated.

Yun said at a joint press conference that the three sides agreed on the importance of implementing UN Security Council resolutions on the North with the international community maintaining its firm stance on the matter.
