The South Korean government strongly condemned North Korea's submarine-launched ballistic missile(SLBM) test on Wednesday.
 
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Cho June-hyuck said the North has ignored repeated warnings by the international community and violated UN Security Council resolutions through continued provocations. including nuclear test and ballistic missile launches. 
 
The ministry added that the North should realize its pursuit of developing nuclear and missile capabilities without tending to the suffering of its people will only expedite its destruction by leading to harsher sanctions and further diplomatic isolation.
