Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has expressed opposition to North Korea's submarine-launched ballistic missile(SLBM) test on Wednesday, saying that it will complicate issues surrounding the Korean Peninsula.
 
According to Japan’s Kyodo News, Wang told reporters in Tokyo that the launch is undesirable as it will raise tensions in the region.

He also urged all related nations restrain themselves. 

Wang is in the Japanese capital to attend a meeting with his South Korean and Japanese counterparts.
 
It remains to be seen if the three officials will discuss the North's nuclear and missile program, including the SLBM test.
