3 Magnitude Quake Detected in Eastern N. Korea

A magnitude 3 earthquake was detected in eastern North Korea on Saturday. 
 
The tremor took place at 12:18 p.m. 32 kilometers north-northeast of Yanggu County in Gangwon Province.
 
According to the coordinates of the epicenter revealed by the South's Korea Meteorological Administration, the area is not far from the military demarcation line at the inter-Korean border.
 
But the weather agency said it appears the quake was a natural occurrence.
