Samsung Electronics  has officially released its Galaxy Note 7 in about ten countries around the world.

In South Korea, the flagship phablet went on sale nationwide on Friday via the three mobile carriers both online and offline which will gradually expand to other countries until next month.

The flagship device was well received rave reviews when it was unveiled in New York earlier this month for its iris recognition security system and other cutting-edge tech features.

It's been estimated that pre-orders from August 6th until Thursday have topped over 400 thousand in South Korea.
