Foreign Stock Holdings in S. Korea Surged 43 Tln Won This Year

Foreign stock holdings in South Korea were found to have grown by some 43 trillion won this year, up ten-point-three percent compared to the end of last year.
 
The Korea Exchange said Tuesday that foreign investors held roughly 464-point-one trillion won worth of stocks on the main bourse and the tech-heavy KOSDAQ market as of last Wednesday, or 30-point-56 percent of the total market capitalization.
 
The Korea Exchange found that foreign investors held 38-point-14 percent of shares of large caps listed on the main KOSPI market, up 86-hundredths of a percentage point from the end of last year.
 
The amount of mid-cap shares held by foreigners on the main bourse surged 47-hundredths of a percentage point and of small caps by 41-hundredths of a percentage point.
