On the heels of an agreement reached Friday by the ruling and opposition parties to pass the extra budget plan at a plenary parliamentary session on August 22nd, the government has begun preparations in order to have it executed as swiftly as possible.

A Finance Ministry official said the government will be ready to release the extra budget from next month following its parliamentary approval. 

Since submitting the eleven-trillion won budget plan to the National Assembly on July 26th, the government has been refining preparations to implement it.

Following the finalization of execution plans by each ministry and distribution procedures, the funds will be released from September to help with job creation and the restructuring of major industries.
