South Korea’s gross industrial production posted growth for the second consecutive month in June on the back of improvements seen in the service industries.

According to Statistics Korea on Friday, South Korea’s industrial production for June climbed six-tenths of a percent from May.
 
The nation’s industrial production saw a decline in April before posting the highest figure in 15 months in May.
 
Production in the service sector surged one percent from May, posting the highest growth since last December. Production in the mining and manufacturing industries in June, meanwhile, fell two-tenths of a percent.
