The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) ended up in positive territory on Wednesday, despite a weak start following a fall on Wall Street overnight.
 
The main index gained 15-point-02 points, or zero-point-75 percent, to close at two-thousand-27-point-34.
 
The secondary KOSDAQ closed flat at 705-point-four.
 
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated two-point-one won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-134-point-nine won.
