The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) slipped for the third straight day on Thursday, bucking the trend from other global markets.
The main index dipped three-point-24 points, or zero-point-16 percent, to close at two-thousand-12-point-22.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ, on the other hand, edged up three-point-09 points, or zero-point-44 percent, to 708-point-12.
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated five-point-one won against the greenback to one-thousand-135-point-nine won.
