Korea Aerospace Industries(KAI) has sold four of its KT-1 trainer jets to Senegal’s Air Force.
 
KAI unveiled on Tuesday that a decision was made last Friday to provide four KT-1 trainer jets to the African country.
 
The aerospace manufacturer had previously provided the trainer jets to Indonesia, Turkey and Peru.
 
The firm said it believes that the latest decision will result in acquiring additional orders from other African countries.
 
The KT-1 was developed in 1998 based on domestic technology and its production began in 2000.
