KOSPI, KOSDAQ Edge up in Cautious Trading

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose three-point-22 points, or zero-point-16 percent, to close at two-thousand-eight-point-77 on Thursday.

Investors traded cautiously after South Korea's central bank decided to maintain the key interest rate at one-point-25 percent.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ added zero-point-69 point, or zero-point-one percent, to 703-point-34.

On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened nine won against the greenback to one-thousand-137-point-four won.
