The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) nudged up two-point-69 points, or zero-point-14 percent, to close at one-thousand-991-point-23 on Tuesday following a strong finish on Wall Street.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ added two-point-15 points, or zero-point-31 percent, to 699-point-four, closing just shy of the 700 threshold.
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened one-point-three won against the greenback to one-thousand-148 won.
