KOSPI Snaps Winning Streak on Tuesday

After recording six straight sessions of gains, the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) closed lower on Tuesday due to institutional selling.
The main index lost five-point-45 points, or zero-point-27 percent, to close at one-thousand-989-point-85.
The secondary KOSDAQ, on the other hand, advanced four-point-58 points, or zero-point-67 percent, to 692-point-73.
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency depreciated eight-point-five won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-155-point-four won.
