N. Korea Urges US to Drop Hostile Policies

North Korea has urged the United States to change its hostile policies against the North.

The ruling Workers’ Party's official Rodong Sinmun said on Wednesday in a commentary that North Korea responds to the U.S.’ hostile policies by enhancing its nuclear deterrence, adding it will stick to the stance forever.

The paper said that seeking the North’s nuclear disarmament is a useless idea, saying that Washington has only one choice, which is to drop its hostile policies against the North.

The report said that if the U.S. beefs up its pressure against the North, Pyongyang will significantly enhance its nuclear capabilities in response. It added that the U.S. should listen to experts warning that the North will secure more nuclear weapons with time.
