The main index advanced 27-point-72 points, or one-point-42 percent, to close at one-thousand-981-point-12.
The secondary KOSDAQ rose ten-point-09 points, or one-point-49 percent, to 688-point-95.
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated eleven-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-160-point-eight won.
