KOSPI Bounces Back after 6-Day Losing Streak

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) barely snapped a six-day losing streak on Friday as investors stay focused on next week's referendum on whether Britain will stay in the European Union.

The main index ticked up one-point-41 points, or zero-point-07 percent, to close the week at one-thousand-953-point-four.

The secondary KOSDAQ fell one-point-39 points, or zero-point-two percent, to 678-point-86.

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency depreciated one-point-three won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-172-point-seven won.
