The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) slumped for the sixth consecutive session on Thursday amid various lingering uncertainties.

The main index sank 16-point-84 points, or zero-point-86 percent, closing at one-thousand-951-point-99.

The secondary KOSDAQ plummeted 14-point-41 points, or two-point-07 percent, to 680-point-25.

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated one-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-171-point-four won.
