The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) remained flat on Friday, rising zero-point-73 point, or zero-point-04 percent, to close the week at one-thousand-985-point-84.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ closed nearly unchanged, inching up only zero-point-28 point, or zero-point-04 percent, to 701-point-43.

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated three won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-183-point-six won.
