The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rallied on Tuesday, jumping 16-point-27 points, or zero-point-83 percent, to close at one-thousand-983-point-four.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also shot up six-point-39 points, or zero-point-92 percent, to 698-point-45.

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency closed nearly unchanged against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-191-point-seven won.
