The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) retreated on Thursday amid a host of global uncertainties.

The main index dipped three-point-45 points, or zero-point-18 percent, to close at one-thousand-957-point-06.

The secondary KOSDAQ fell one-point-39 points, or zero-point-two percent, to 687-point-94.

On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened two-point-one won against the greenback to one-thousand-180-point-four won.
