The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rebounded on Wednesday after overnight gains on Wall Street.
The main index rallied 22-point-83 points, or one-point-18 percent, to close at one-thousand-960-point-51.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ jumped one-point-62 points, or zero-point-24 percent, to 689-point-33.
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened ten-point-two won against the greenback to one-thousand-182-point-five won.
