Chinese electronics manufacturer Huawei Technologies has filed an intellectual property suit against Samsung Electronics in the U.S.

Huawei said Tuesday that it filed suits in the U.S. federal court in California, accusing Samsung of using 4G technologies, operating systems and user interface software without proper authorization.

Huawei also launched a legal action against the Korean company in China.
 
The Chinese company said in a statement that Samsung should stop infringing on its patents and obtain necessary licenses, adding that it hopes the two sides can work together to jointly drive the industry forward.
