The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose on Friday, inching up zero-point-89 point, or zero-point-05 percent, to close the week at one-thousand-947-point-67.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also jumped five-point-53 points, or zero-point-81 percent, to 684-point-92.

On the foreign exchange market, the South Korean won appreciated one-point-five won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-190-point-two won.
