The Qashqai diesel sport-utility vehicle model of Japanese automaker Nissan has been found to have exceeded the emissions limit in the road tests recently conducted in Europe.
 
According to the auto industry on Tuesday, road tests by Britain’s Transport Department on 18 diesel models with Euro 5 engines in April found that all of the models surpassed the European nitrogen oxide emissions standard of 180 milligram per kilometer.
 
Of the 18 models, the Nissan Qashqai 1.5dCi and 1.6dCi models emitted 14-hundred milligrams of nitrogen oxide per kilometer, more than one-thousand-135 milligrams, the average for 18 models.
