The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Thursday dropped 14-point-47 points, or zero-point-72 percent, to close at two-thousand-point-93.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ, on the other hand, gained zero-point-18 point, or zero-point-03 percent, to 699-point-seven.

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated ten-point-one won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-138-point-two won.
