Iranian Envoy to Seoul Vows Support for S. Korean Firms

The Association of High Potential Enterprises of Korea(AHPEK) has invited Tehran's ambassador to Seoul Hassan Taherian to a forum to discuss business strategies with Iran.

At the gathering, Ambassador Taherian told the association of over 500 South Korean firms that they would become important global partners with Iran, noting their technological expertise.

The ambassador added he would help unearth investment partners to create joint ventures and assist South Korean firms enter Iran.

AHPEK head Kang Ho-gap said Iran was a breath of fresh air for South Korean firms being choked out of other foreign markets, adding he welcomed the chance for Seoul and Tehran to become strategic partners on the global stage after the end of international sanctions on the Middle Eastern country.
