A survey shows that Hyundai Motor is the most coveted company for employment among Korean job seekers.
Local job portal Samamin released on Monday the results of a survey conducted on nearly one-thousand-500 college students and job hunters.
In the survey, the largest number of respondents at 14-point-four percent answered that they hope to land jobs at the nation’s largest carmaker. The figure is up eight-point-one percentage points from last year’s six-point-three percent.
Samsung Electronics came in second with 14-point-one percent, losing the top honor it held for seven straight years. The Korea Power Electric Power Corporation ranked third with five-point-five percent.
Other top choices include CJ Cheil Jedang, LG Chem, Kia Motors, the Korea Gas Corporation, Korean Air, the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Corporation and LG Electronics.
