N. Korean Media Threatens Attack on S. Korean Agencies Through Video

A North Korean propaganda site has again threatened South Korea through a video showing hypothetical attacks on key state agencies in Seoul using long-range artillery.

The North's Web site dprktoday.com on Tuesday posted the one minute and 28 second video titled, "If the final ultimatum is not accepted."

The video shows gunfire drills by the North Korean military followed by an image of a radar targeting the heart of the South Korean capital between Namdaemun Gate and the National Theater of Korea.

Against this backdrop, the video continues to show, in simple computer graphics, scenes of three artillery shells attacking the South Korean presidential office, the Central Government Complex, U.S. Forces Korea and the National Intelligence Service.

The video ends with the words, "All will turn into a heap of ashes."

Late last month, a long-range artillery unit of the North's Korean People's Army took issue with the South Korean military's precision striking drills against key North Korean facilities, and threatened to strike at Seoul's presidential office if President Park Geun-hye does not issue a public apology.
