KOSPI, KOSDAQ Close Lower

South Korean shares fell on Thursday, a day after the main bourse reached a yearly high above the two-thousand-point threshold.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) sank six-point-29 points, or zero-point-31 percent, to one-thousand-995-point-85.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also dropped two-point-75 points, or zero-point-four percent, to 688-point-38.

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated seven-point-three won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-143-point-five won.
