The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) sank two-point-16 points, or zero-point-11 percent, to one-thousand-983-point-81 on Friday.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also retreated three-point-06 points, or zero-point-45 percent, to 683-point-two.

On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened two-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-169-point-two won.
