N. Korea Threatens to Remove S. Korean President

North Korea has threatened to wage an attack to remove President Park Geun-hye.

The North’s Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) on Wednesday cited Pyongyang’s Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland as saying military operations have been put in place to eliminate Park.

While discussing the recent South Korean Air Force exercise of striking key North Korean targets, the committee said that military actions by anti-North Korean forces such as the U.S. and the Park administration crossed the line.

The North said that its actions against Park could start from within or around the South Korean presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae, adding Pyongyang's high-caliber rockets are ready to destroy it.
